Students explored mixed-media subtractive techniques through concrete and vermiculite carving, learning to work with industrial materials and their unique properties. This assignment focused on understanding material behavior, developing precision in carving techniques, and creating sculptural forms that showcase the contrast between rough and refined surfaces.
